Overview
Welcome to your very own forest field trip!
We understand the challenges of getting students out to forests on field trips so we wanted to bring the field trip to you.
These booklets will lead your students through activities like tree measurement, plant identification, wildlife habitat/tracking, soil testing and decomposer digging!
All of the tools needed are listed in the Teacher’s Guides, and are easy to acquire. All you need is a forested area near your school, and you are set to start your own community forest inventory!
