Overview

Environmental stewardship is the careful and wise use of natural resources in your everyday life. Many of you already practice stewardship, even if the word is new to you! You may already practice stewardship by turning off the lights when you leave a room, recycling, or turning off the water while you’re brushing your teeth – give yourself a pat on the back!

Stewardship can get even more creative, by changing behaviours that are not quite so obviously linked to taking care of natural resources. How can going outside or playing a board game save energy? Why is it so important to share your stewardship ideas with others?

Talk with your family about these topics as you take the Stewardship Challenge! Spin the wheel and have fun completing the challenges with your family and friends!
