Cultivate is a unique opportunity to:
  • Increase students’ understanding of agriculture in Alberta by exploring sustainability, accessibility, technology, and innovations in the sector!
  • Make relevant real-life connections with agriculture producers, ranchers, farmers, and researchers!
  • Get your boots on the ground with tours featuring exciting innovations, cool crops, and lots of livestock!
  • Be inspired to complete one of our options for a school or community-based Agriculture Education Project to educate your school and community about what you’ve learned at the summit

Cultiv8 Fall 2025

Join us for an experience of a lifetime!

Cultivate is a dynamic education summit that provides 80 high school students and 40 teachers with a unique opportunity to learn about, collaborate on, and ultimately advance agriculture education in Alberta! This year, we’re focused on agriculture in the Parkland region of Alberta and how sustainable agriculture looks in both an urban and rural setting. 

Where: Edmonton at the Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre

When:  November 6-9, 2025 (Thursday evening - Sunday noon)

Who: We invite teams of four high school students and two teachers to apply. We accept 20 teams from across the province!

Cost: Successful teams will be provided full scholarships to attend including all meals and accommodations. Teams may apply for travel and supply teacher subsidies if needed
