Why Attend Generate 2025?

In a country where energy and climate change can be polarizing topics and complex terms like the energy transition and net zero are frequently discussed, it’s no surprise that Canadian youth are keen to engage and learn about actions they can take to create a sustainable energy future!

Inside Education hosts Generate, our 14th annual, award-winning energy education youth summit that offers Canadian youth behind-the-scenes access to energy innovations in action and face-to-face connections with our new frontier of energy in Canada.

To take action on climate change and understand Canada’s evolving energy landscape, young Canadians need to be provided with educational experiences that develop their critical thinking skills, promote innovation and creativity to understand our country’s energy future.

Inside Education believes experiential learning opportunities like Generate equip youth with knowledge and leadership skills, providing a foundation for informed decision-making and ongoing commitment to responsible stewardship of our country’s natural resources.

"I can now firmly say that I have a voice in my community and that I am no longer hesitant to use it. Because of what I have learned and the connections I have made I am confident that when I return to my community, I will be able to contribute in a way that I never thought possible prior to the Summit."
